Your Garden

More pictures of my garden...

The front garden - gravel drive, lawn area and simple planting

Towards the back of the rear garden and pond area

View from the back of the garden towards the bungalow

Additional patio and seating area at the back of the garden, overlooking the pond

The cascade from the upper, wild filter pond into the main pond

The upper pond is full of plants to filter the water - such as this native aquatic Pickerel Plant, (Pontederia cordata)

There is also a large clump of Arum Lily, (Zantedeschia aethiopica) as well as a sedge or two, (Carex buchananii)

Golden Marjoram (Origanum majorana), and Thrift (Armeria maritima)

A large barbeque is always useful when family and friends come round!

For me, a garden is not complete without a rose or eleven!

The fragrance of a shrub rose and the mock orange (Philadelphus Belle Etoile) fill the summer air!

White features heavily throughout the garden and what better than the Victoria Plum in Spring!

A simple DIY water feature by the patio doors can be heard in the lounge - 'cooling' on a hot day!

The deep orange Avens, (Geum 'Mrs J Bradshaw') used as an accent colour to white flowers

White Lilac, (Syringa Vulgaris) and white Shaster Daisy (Chrysanthemum maximum)

The other side of the Lilac there's Feverfew, (Chrysanthemum parthenium), native Foxgloves, (Digitalis purpurea) with a couple of Escallonias behind, (CF Ball and Apple Blossom)

Wild flowers, (often referred to as Weeds) are not only vital for insects but can make a spectacular display - as these daisies and creeping buttercups are providing!
